Administrative / Biographical History

William Watkins Rollinson was educated at Barrow-in-Furness Grammar School and at the University of Birmingham, 1925-1930. He was awarded a BA Hons in History in 1938, a Diploma in Education in 1929 and an MA in History in 1930. He was a member of the Birmingham University Association Football Club, 1st & 2nd XIs, 1925-1928, a member of the Harriers VIII, 1928-1930 and was awarded full colours for cross country running 1929-1930. In 1930 he was appointed to the teaching staff of Keil School, Helenslee, Dumbarton
