Administrative / Biographical History

Dame Margery Irene Corbett-Ashby (b. 1882 in London) was educated at Newnham College, Cambridge. She was involved in the Suffragette movement during the First World War, whilst also undertaking voluntary work at Lowestoft. She was the niece of the distinguished First World War historian, Julian Corbett.
