Administrative / Biographical History

W.J. Marquand (b 1917) served as District Officer, British Solomon Islands Protectorate from 1946 and High Commissioner, Fiji, 1950-1953. He held the post of Assistant Secretary, Uganda from 1953 and was appointed Senior Assistant Secretary in 1961.
