Cites lease and release of 16/17 Jan 1756 (Doc 1796), and deed poll executed by Christopher Anstey of Trumpington and Bath, esq on 25 Apr 1790. Anstey died on 3 Aug 1805. His sons Christopher and Robert Anstey declare that the stated purpose of another indenture dated 31 Jan 1807 with regard to annuities paid out of a sum of #2,000 borrowed by Christopher Anstey jnr from his brother Robert on mortgage of his Trumpington estate and applied in discharging the portions of their several brothers and sisters, was fictitious, and that the true purpose was to facilitate the sale of estates in Ashwell, Hertfordshire, Willingham, Cambridgeshire, and Bardney, Lincolnshire, and to allow payment of money bequeathed to the trustees of Christopher Anstey snr's granddaughters, children of his deceased daughter Sarah Sotheby. The sum is now to be raised (by Robert Anstey) only after the death of his mother Ann Anstey. Tripartite indenture, signed and sealed by the widow and six surviving children of the late Christopher Anstey, duty stamps.
