West Nile Holding Limited was incorporated in 1971 as the UK holding company for the Indian tea company, The Anglo-American Direct Tea Trading Company Limited. Quoted on the London Stock Exchange until acquired by James Finlay Limited in 1976. Later incorporating as James Finlay Overseas Holding Limited 1977. Thereafter holding company for all Finlay's tea interests.
