Tableau historique de la guerre des deux Roses - Wars of the Roses - French ms on paper, bound. 18th century straight grained red morocco, sides panelled in gilt and blind with cornerpiece sprays, spine in compartments between double raised bands, lettered direct, 3 panels with rounded tools, 2 with armorial or emlematic device incorporating the union flag on a shield, and eagle upon a sceptre and scales of justice, marbled and gilt edges.

Extensive ms of over 100,000 words devoted to the ewars of the Roses and the political and social turbulence of the European Middle Ages. The origin of the text is unclear, though there are traces of the work of historian Rapin de Thoyras.
