This oral history collection comprises eight interviews with people with Black Caribbean heritage discussing the art of hair braiding.

Administrative / Biographical History

These oral history interviews were conducted in Leicester as part of a project organised by Cherub Braids and the Black Mothers' Support Group and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The elders discussion is likely to have been with WISCP (West Indian Senior Citizen's Project).
