John and Joan Hore, Thomas and Joan Loundres, all of Ellysfeld [Elsfield], Oxfordshire, lease a close of pasture called Rywurthe and an adjacent house called Dey House in the manor of Elsfield, to Hugh Benet, and William Swanborne of Oxford, for 20 years at an annual rent of 10 marks. Counterpart: Doc 3915. Indenture, witnessed by William Makkenay, William Cok, John Hye, Henry M'kam, Adam ?On'way, and others. Two tagged pendant red round seals (slightly damaged) with what appear to be monogram 'R' and 'bird' or 'dragon' devices. Sixteenth-century identifying endorsement. In pencil at top-right: '14'.
