Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Since 1981, in parallel with the Mass-Observation Project (see SxMOA 2), the Mass-Observation Archive has collected personal papers donated by individuals, including diaries, letters, photograph albums, scrap books, autobiographies and other personal and family documentation.
Access Information
The collection is open to all bona fide researchers, by appointment only, telephone or email a week in advance of your intended visit. Researchers must abide by the conditions protecting the collection.
Acquisition Information
Donated by the owners to the Mass-Observation Archive Trust which has deposited the collection with the University of Sussex.
