This collection contains the personal papers of nurse Mary Bewglass, including:

Folder 1: Certificate of attendance at Dr C.M. MacQuibban's course of instuction in midwifery, diseases of women and children, and medical and surgical nursing, and of examination in these subjects; Aberdeen, 22 August 1902 (with wax seal).

Letter from Central Midwives Board for Scotland, confirming receipt of Certificate, fee of 10s. and Form IX, and requesting that Form VIII now be filled in and returned; 10 October 1916.

Central Midwives Board for Scotland certificate of entitlement to practise as a midwife, by virtue of having been in bona fide practice as a midwife for one year prior to 1 January 1916; dated 12 October 1916. With covering letter and copy of blank Form XII: Notification of Intention to Practise.
