Sir Thomas Vaisey Scrivenor was the Deputy High Commissioner for Basutoland, the Bechuanaland Protectorate and Swaziland, 1953-1960. He had formerly worked for the Colonial Service in Tanzania, Palestine, Malta and Nigeria.
