Bill Godward of Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, autograph and literary enthusiast
Patric Dickinson (1914-1994) playwright and poet; worked for the BBC 1943-1948; his translation of Virgil's 'Aeneid was published by an American publisher in 1962; 'published his autobiography, The Good Minute' subtitled 'Autobiography of a Poet-Golfer' (1965). His 'A Wintering Tree' received one of the Cholmondeley Awards for Poets, for 1973; he won a golf blue at Cambridge in 1935, which explains his book 'A Round of Golf Courses' with tours 18 of the 'best' British gof courses, first published in 1951.
