Scope and Content

Richard Adam of Orwell and John Wake of Great Eversden confirm their gift (with warranty) to Nicholas Adam of Orwell, Thomas Adam of Eversden, Henry Wake of Eversden, and Thomas Kyng' of Toft, of all that land and tenement formerly held by James and Joan West. Deed poll, witnessed by John Courthose, John Bocher [?Vocher], Henry Bocher [?Vocher], John Saykyn, Richard Clerk', and others. Two red round seals on single tag: 'four-leaf clover' and 'torch' motifs. Endorsed in pencil: '15'.
