Jack Herbert Hoadley was born 11 Dec 1916 at Tunbridge Wells; member of Claremont Central Mission, London; trained at New College, London; Dedication Service, 5 Apr 1945, at Claremont Central Mission; married 4 Jun 1941 to Alice Rose Dale (born 21 Mar 1909 at Ide Hill, Kent); appointed to Samoa, 1945; sailed 19 Feb 1946; stationed at Tutuila; transferred to Malua, 1953. Most of Mr Hoadley's service was given in Tutuila, American Samoa, where he had charge of the Fagalele School as well as responsibility for the general work of the district; from 1954, he was in Western Samoa at the Malua Theological College, and also missionary secretary of the Samoan Church Assembly; he retired 31 Jan 1957 and entered the home ministry; he died on 23 Feb 1985.
