Elizabeth Skeels, Robert Cawthorn and Joseph Wright (as executors of Sarah Cawthorn's will), Mary Howell, and Ann Cawthorn all acknowledge receipt from Joseph Saberton and William Ruston the younger, both of Chatteris, farmers, of four separate sums of £200, bequeathed to them by their father Philip Cawthorn of Chatteris, farmer (d March 1824), probate of whose will had been granted by the Ely Consistory Court on 8 June 1824. The legacies had been charged upon Cawthorn's real estate. 21 Feb 1832 and 11 Feb 1834, 4 printed Stamp Office receipts (Form No 1), with receipts for 1% duty on verso.
