Scope and Content

One of two volumes containing press cuttings, many of them from newspapers published in Wales and including material largely, but not exclusively, of Merioneth interest, broadsides, posters, leaflets, letters, poetry (including Pennill[ion] ar ddyfodiad William Robert Maurice Wynne Ysswain Aer ac Etifedd Peniarth iw oed, Chwefror 15 1861 ... by Robert Llewelyn Roberts, Llanenddwyn and a song on the same occasion by Harry William of Barmouth, formerly of Llanegryn), portraits, etc. The collection of the material was begun by William Watkin Edward Wynne (1801-1880) of Peniarth, Merioneth.
