Administrative / Biographical History

Dorothy Blachford Greig was living in Trinidad at the outbreak of War. She travelled to the United Kingdom in 1916 and became a driver for Harrods department store. She served as Petty Officer, WRNS (Women's Royal Naval Service) Transport Division, from 1918.
