The album contains several ink paintings. Leaf a-Leaf I are fan-shaped paintings with dimension 22.5 x 60.5 cm. Leaf j contains two circle shaped paintings with diameter 28 cm. They are all landscape paintings which were created by the celebrated Chinese painter Hong Ling when he was age 58.

Acquisition Information
The album was featured in Hong Ling: A Retrospective exhibition held at the Brunei Gallery, SOAS, from 14th July to 25th September 2016. The exhibition was curated by Professor Shane McCausland and Dr. Tianshuang Liang in the History of Art and Archaeology Department. The album was signed by the artist and donated to the SOAS Library on 22nd September 2016.
