Administrative / Biographical History
The Dumbarton Burns Club was formed on the centenary celebration of the poet's birth in January, 1859. The club exists to encourage and cherish the memory of Robert Burns, to foster a love of his writings and generally to encourage an interest in the Scots Language and Literature.
