The archive consists of Pam Schweitzer's collection of scripts, and information about a range of Theatre-in-Education (TIE) companies collected during the 1970s when she was accumulating information for the three volumes of TIE she edited for Eyre Methuen, collecting key works for Infant, together with some material relating to her involvement in SCYPT and articles by Pam Schweitzer and the report on Theatre-in-Education she wrote for the Arts Council in 1975.

Administrative / Biographical History
Pam Schweitzer was centrally involved in the burgeoning Theatre-in-Education movement in Britain in the 1970s. She edited three key collections for Infants, Junior and Secondary school children and collected scripts and workpacks from many of the theatre companies active across the country as part of that working process and wrote a report on Theatre-in-Education for the Arts Council in 1975.
