Administrative / Biographical History

Brin Daniel was born at Gwynffrwd, Saron. He worked in Saron Colliery, suffering an accident aged 17 when he was buried for some time. He was a member of the Communist Party 1932-1933. The archive includes material relating to the Welsh poet, preacher, dentist, rebel, lecturer and political journalist T.E. Nicholas (1878-1971) which was discovered by Brin Daniel in a book of Nicholas' poems for sale in a second hand bookshop.
