The collection contains a single volume recording landholdings in the parish of Wymeswold, Leicestershire, and is entitled 'Terrier of the Parish and Lordship of Wimeswould in the county of Leicester, agreeably to a division made thereof by the Commissioners appointed by an Act of Parliament for dividing and inclosing the same'.
The volume begins with the estate of Messrs Davys and Allsopp, the Lords of the Manor. The remainder of the volume is arranged in alphabetical order of the surname of each landowner. By the name of each owner are plot numbers, brief descriptions of each parcel of land, and the quantity of each parcel in acres, roods and perches. The plot numbers refer to a plan (not present). The volume is undated but as the parish was enclosed in 1759, it seems likely that it was compiled around that time.
