Scope and Content

Tibetan Blockprint wrapped in purple cloth.

Two texts (mainly being illustrations of deities) comprise:

(i) 'rdor 'phreng' in Tibetan abbreviated form [full name in Sanskrit 'Vajravali nama mandalopayika' and translated into English as 'diamond garland]. A compendium of rites drawn from a host of Tantras, composed by Abhayakaraguupta in 12th century. The text here shows illustrations of these Tantric deities backed by long versions of mantras;

(ii) Rin 'byung snar thang brgya rtsa rdor 'phreng bcas nas gsungs pa'i bris sku mthong ba don ldan bzhugs so [in English 'The Hundred Narthang Treasure Sources'].
