Inquisito ad quod damnum, Ingleby and Repton, Derbyshire

The king (Edward I) to the Sheriff of Derby: whether the proposed grant of land at Ingleby by Robert de Somervyle to the Prior and Convent of Repton would be to the damage of the Crown or of anyone else. Inquisito ad quod damnum held in March 1290 by Walter de Stretton, William de Meysam, John de Stapenhull, Robert de Stanton, John de Hirsicote, Thomas de Walmesgare de Engelby, William de Coursoun de Groxhale, William de Stapenhull, clerk, Peter de Lucy de Stapenhull, Geoffrey Walran de Hullinton, Robin de Crumbwelle de Meysam, John Vincent de Stapenhull, etc. They find it would be no loss and that they paid tenement etc. are held by John de Hasti [?] for 10/- a year and for services...They assess the value at £4.13.10 p.a. They seal it in witness.
