3 fortune / astrology books copied into one manuscript by an unknown copier, late 17th century. Also, a transcript by Thomas Jones, made in 1901.

Administrative / Biographical History

In his article in The Bulletin of the Board of Celtic Studies, Vol. III, p.p. 90-119, Ifor Williams states that the manuscript was copied by an Anglesey or Caernarfonshire man who claimed to follow Iorwerth Fynglwyd and William John Mredith. He also suggests that there might be a connection with Morgan Llwyd.

Custodial History

According to Ifor Williams, it is possible that the manuscript was in the possession of Mr Thomas Williams, former Postmaster of Caernarfon in 1908. It became the property of the University College of North Wales in 1919.
