Records of Llanddowror Parish and Community Council, Carmarthenshire, 1845-1980, including minute books, 1895-2016; correspondence, 1948-2018; copy letter books, 1951-1979; financial records, 1944-2014; and maps and plans, 1845-[c. 2019].

Parish councils were established by the Local Government Act 1894. Community councils replaced parish councils under the local government reorganization in 1974. Part of Laugharne parish became a ward of Llanddowror Parish Council under the County of Carmarthen Review Order, 1935.
