Scope and Content

Papers of Arthur Cayley Headlam (1862-1947), Bishop of Gloucester. Headlam was appointed Principal of King's College, London, in 1903; Regius Professor of Divinity, Oxford, 1918; Bishop of Gloucester, 1923. He was chairman of the Church of England Council on Foreign Relations from 1933 to 1945.
