Scope and Content

The fifth International Botanical Congress was held in Cambridge between 16 and 23 August 1930, under the presidency of Professor A.C. Seward. Dr A.B. Rendle was honorary treasurer, and F.T. Brooks and T.F. Chipp joint honorary secretaries. The documents here comprise printed matter relating to the organisation of the Congress, gathered by Brooks, and his later correspondence concerning publications arising from the Congress, and the disposal of the residual balance of the funds of the Congress.
