Scope and Content

Consists of three drafts of a memorandum entitled "Remarks on the question of augmenting the number of medical officers at the General Infirmary in Leeds": (1) First draft with amendments in another hand, 30 ff.; (2) Second draft, dated 7th April 1927, 26 ff.; (3) Third draft, same date, 28 ff.

Second son of William Hey (1736-1819), and a notable surgeon in his own right. He was the author of A treatise on the puerperal fever
