Scope and Content

Adam [Weyn?] of W'nteleg' confirms his gift to John de Monteforti (?) and Geoffrey le Bret, and to the heirs and assigns of the said John, of his messuage in W'nteleg', saving a piece of land which Adam's son William has of his gift in the curtilage thereto pertaining. Geoffrey is to pay an annual rent of 27d to the lord of the fee, for as long as he lives, for all services except king's service. Witnessed by Roger de W[?], Roger ?Aspeleya, Richard son of Simon, John de Herford, Roger Periste, and others. Tag, seal wanting. Endorsed: '+'.
