Scope and Content

In consideration of 4s, Thomas son of Bartholomew quitclaims to Master Hugh Pethe [or Peche] all his right in the homage of William Iric, that is to say, in an annual rent of 4d for a piece of land lying 'apud le Wonhoc'. Deed poll, witnessed by Gilbert de Dudingherste, Robert Iric, Robert de Ponte, Gilbert Iric, Richard Sefare, Thomas le Knit, Nicholas Ordin[s or -g?], Godfrey de Chelveston, William Totus (?), William Winefrey, and others. Tagged pendant white round seal (damaged). Tag (damaged) cut from another deed. Endorsement in contemporary hand: 'Homager [illegible] Wilbyra (?)' and in a sixteenth-century hand: 'For lands etc in Wysbyche'.
