Scope and Content

Papurau'r genhades Marian Pritchard, 1945-1980, a fu'n fetron yn Ysbyty Jowai, gogledd-ddwyrain yr India tan 1968, gan gynnwys nifer fawr o lythyrau oddi wrthi hi at ei theulu a llythyrau a dderbyniodd hi wedi dychwelyd i Gymru. Mae rhai o'r llythyrau wedi'u ysgrifennu mewn Khasi. Ceir llawysgrif ei llyfr Y weledigaeth. Hanes ysbyty cenhadol yn yr India [1975] a chyfieithiad teipysgrif i'r Saesneg 'The house of vision', ynghyd â'r cylchgrawn Y cenhadwr, 1967 a 1968, yn cynnwys erthyglau ganddi, a deunydd printiedig yn ymwneud yn bennaf â'r ysbyty. = Papers of the missionary Marian Pritchard, 1945-1980, who was a matron in Jowai Hospital in north-east India until 1968, including a number of letters written by her to her family and letters received by her on her return to Wales. Some of the letters are written in Khasi. A manuscript copy of her book Y weledigaeth. Hanes ysbyty cenhadol yn yr India [1975] is included and an English translation in typescript entitled 'The house of vision', together with Y cenhadwr (The missionary), 1967 a 1968, including articles by her and printed material relating mainly to the hospital.
