Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The University of Oxford established academic halls for women from 1878. Women became members of the University in 1920.

Acquisition Information
The papers were deposited by Somerville College in 1975 and 1982, St. Anne's College in 1980, and Lady Margaret Hall in 1980 and 1982.
