Administrative / Biographical History

The Waverley Iron & Steel Co Ltd was incorporated in 1881  with its registered office in St Enoch's Square, Glasgow, Scotland , and its main works in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, Scotland . Joseph Reid, a merchant from Glasgow and partner in the firm of Reid Bros , engineering and colliery furnishers, was a director of the company. Waverely Iron & Steel Co Ltd was still operating in 1904  .
