Miscellaneous English autographs, 1870-1977, collected by the Taylor Institution. The two largest groups are nine letters on the subject of translations of Louis Golding's Magnolia Street (1932), though none are written by Golding; and eight letters concerning the Macray family history, especially concerning the Librarian John Macray.
The collection also includes three autographs of Bache Matthews, and a single autograph of each of the following: John Bellows, E.S. Davis, Charles Edward Doble, Julian Huxley, Roy Clement Knight, Francis Knollys, Mark Pattison, Keith Piercy, Enid Starkie, Paget Jackson Toynbee, Henry Fanshawe Tozer and Joseph Wright.
