Tracings and drawings of watermarks by Edward Heawood, many printed in his Watermarks mainly of the 17th and 18th centuries (Hilversum, 1950).

Edward Heawood (1863-1949) was Librarian to the Royal Geographical Society, 1901-1934, and Librarian Emeritus since 1934. Details are given in Who Was Who.
