Scope and Content

In consideration of #20, Zachariah Mart of Cambridge, gent, mortgages (by way of a nominal lease for 1,000 years at peppercorn rent) his freehold tenement and yard in Walls Lane, parish of the Holy Trinity, Cambridge, late the estate of James Bangle, deceased, to John Whittred of Cambridge, butcher and alderman. Nominal repayment date of capital sum and interest is 30 June 1766. Signed and sealed by Mart, witnessed by Chs Martindale and N Farrin, duty stamp. Endorsed with receipt for consideration money, same date and witnesses.
