Scope and Content

'Celebration books', scrapbooks compiled by Mrs Coker, containing letters, drawings, photographs, postcards, invitations, menus, programmes and other souvenirs of her activities and friends, 1913-78, with an index volume for 1913-50. The volumes relate to Mrs Coker's life at Downe House School, Kent, 1913-14, and then partly at Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire, 1913-20, Sutton Valence, Kent, 1920-3, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, 1926-30, and Bicester, 1930-78, and partly abroad in various countries.
