Administrative / Biographical History

Capel Salem, Dolgellau, Merionethshire, is a Calvinistic Methodist chapel. The Methodist cause in Dolgellau was established in 1766. The first chapel on the present site was constructed in 1808. The chapel was rebuilt in its present form in 1893-4.
