Extent:1 vol. (29 ff.) parchment and paper Modern pencil foliation. The watermark in the paper endpaper is of the "three circles" type; similar marks are found in Spanish manuscripts of the end of the 17th century. The drawings may have been made by a Spanish traveller in Italy, since on the endpaper at the back of the volume is an inscription in 17th century Spanish "Son treynta ojas (hojas) las de vitela de arquitectura..." (i.e. "There are 30 folios of parchment, of architecture"); the rest of the inscription has been scored through and cannot be deciphered. There are signatures on the parchment front cover, namely: "R. D. Waddilove" and "Robt.D. Oxley, Thorpe Lodge, Ripon". An earlier inscription has been erased and there are some arithmetical calculations
