Depicted are the deceased's coat of arms, motto and crest, and two views of Plas Dolau Cothi, together with an account of the Johnes family of Dolau Cothi and an explanation of the symbolism in the design; a photograph of Johnes is pasted in the centre of the document. On a label pasted at the bottom is a note signed by Lady Llanover recording that William Davies died on 16 June 1877, three weeks and four days after completing the memorial.Usual copyright laws apply.gb210-nlwms23565g.
