Extent:48 ff., of which 65 pages are inscribed Written in a very faint ink, illegible in many places; two signatures. Gathered as a single quire. Written from both ends, and much written sideways. Written in black ink just above the other writing on f.1 is "? if one of Rev Joseph Hunter's MSS / yes"; spine lettered "HUN / TER / MSS" in the same black ink. Bound in "Middle Hill" light brown boards, characteristic of the collector Sir Thomas Phillipps; a spine label bears the number [Phillipps] 21466
