Contributing via Modes

There is an EAD export for the Archives Hub in Modes.

Modes have worked with us to update the export so that it provides Hub valid EAD (although bear in mind that different cataloguing practices may result in some work needed to ensure we have the data that we need).

The document below provides the information you need to ensure that you can export from Modes.

Modes export for the Archives Hub (PDF document, v.1)

Essentially, you will need to save two .xsl files in order to apply the recent changes using a patch that has been written by Modes, and to make a small change in Admin to run the correct report. You also need to ensure your Report options are correct.  The document also tells you how to run the export.
