Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
Kingston Polytechnic was formed in 1970 by the merger of Kingston College of Art and Kingston College of Technology. In 1975 Gipsy Hill Teacher Training College also became part of the Polytechnic. In 1992 Kingston Polytechnic became Kingston University.
Rams Rugby Football Club was the former rugby club of Kingston Polytechnic.
