Administrative / Biographical History
David A R Forrester was a graduate of History from the Universities of St Andrews, Scotland, and Oxford, England. He went on to teach at the University of Strathclyde, Glaasgow, Scotland in the Accountancy and Finance department. His study of the great business economist and historicist, Eugen Schmalenbach, earned him the Hour-glass Award of the Academy of Accounting Historians. He is now an honorary life member of the Academy.
