Margaret Sutherland MacLeod was born in c.1909  . She entered the University of Glasgow aged 19 and was an arts student from 1927-1931  . In her first year, 1927-1928, she studied History and French. The following year, 1928-1929, he studied Moral Philosophy, Scottish History and English. In her third year, 1929-1930, she studied Higher English and Botany. In her final year, 1930-1931, she studied eduacation. Margaret MacLeod graduated MA in 1931  .

She died on 13 October 1979.
