Administrative / Biographical History
The Pinkston Estate was situated on the east side of Glasgow, Scotland. The main estate house was Pinkston House, situated within the Barony parish in what is now the Sighthill area of Glasgow. Plans were made in the early 1850s for the Caledonian Railway to pass a branch line through the estate to link with the Edinburgh & Glasgow Railway Co . The solicitors for the estate were the Glasgow firm of Mackenzie, Roberton & Co.
