Records of Stoddard International plc, Design Archive, Miscellaneous III

Scope and Content

Design sketches and design patterns, ranging in size from small to large and varying greatly in style and date. These designs were stored within a drawer labelled 'BMK Kilmarnock A600-A699' and 'City Halls', however as these were scored through it is unclear if these labels are relevant. There are designs by, amongst others, Künstlerwerkstätte Mayer and Mayers and Woodhouse, Kidderminster and there are a few that belonged to Mercia Weavers Ltd. Some designs consist of several seperate pieces of paper, and therefore have been catalogued as single items with multiple parts. Where items are folded and stapled or clipped together the size recorded is that when folded. Some have been given a design number, while a few also note contract details.

This description is part of the Design Archive  which is divided into the 142 sections, each with its own separate description.
