The Dundee Union Bank was established in 1809  in Dundee, Scotland. By 1832  it had £86,652 in circulation and profits of £6,850. In 1844  it amalgamated with Western Bank of Scotland .

Custodial History

This material was deposited by a chartered accountancy firm, of which one of the partners had been involved in the liquidation of Western Bank of Scotland Records with Economic History Department, Glasgow University, c1963. Management of the collection transferred to Glasgow University Archives in 1975.
