Sir Robert McAlpine Properties (Scotland) Ltd was set up in 1928 to look after the Scottish housing estates business of its parent company, Sir Robert McAlpine & Sons , civil engineering contractors, London, England. Like all other McAlpine subsidiaries established at this time, the company rented it plant and machinery from the parent company and shared its offices and staff at Clydebank with other Scottish McAlpine subsidiaries. The company was still operating in 1966 .
